signed, sealed, delivered

We get asked a lot about our delivery process when it comes to weddings and events.
It’s a pretty important question to ask any of your suppliers to be honest. It’s making sure the plan you’ve worked so hard on for months, maybe even years, comes together at the right time, right place and right location.

With weddings and events timing is everything.
We always like to find out the important timings of your day; like what time your ceremony is, when you plan to have your drinks reception, and what time you expect people to start sitting down for the reception dinner.

Combine those timings with the locations of each of those events.
For example- are you getting ready at home or a hotel?
Is your ceremony at the town hall or a church?
Is it all in one venue but across different rooms?

This is when things start to get complicated, but do not stress! We’ve done this hundreds of times and we try and make the day as seamless and as stress free as possible for you.

We usually start with delivering the ‘party’ flowers. Whether that be bouquets, buttonholes, corsages and/or flowers crowns; these will be delivered straight to the main folk in your wedding party . This means the photographer can get some shots of you putting your buttonholes on, the hairdresser can start adding the flowers to your hair and you know you can leave where you’re getting ready with everything you planned to be holding and wearing!

And while you continue to drink all the bubbles, we move on to your ceremony venue. The next place you’ll be visiting once you’re suited and booted. We’ll continue decorate the room/church in plenty of time before guests start to arrive.

Once we’ve completed the ceremony area and everyone has their flowers, we move onto the reception room and any additional rooms you required decorating. We try and coincide with Cake makers, Caterers and anyone else making your day complete.

Then it’s just a case of getting you married!

If you also require a change over, we work alongside your ceremony time and try and get in to pick things up while you’re having your photos taken outside (usually via a side door where possible)! We then aim to get back to the reception venue before you or your guests have arrived, move over what needs to be moved, light any candles that need to be lit and then the day is all yours…
